Mary Trost is a seasoned senior executive who spent ten successful years in a CEO's chair. As an expert in organizational turnaround, a serial entrepreneur and now a partner in MBAsylum, Trost understands the challenges that confront new and growing organizations, regardless of their size.

Trost has worked in a wide range of industries and public or non-profit sectors, including education, social services, municipal and county government, health services, retail, construction, entertainment, agriculture and tourism. She is a versatile presenter and speaker, an intuitive instructor and is accredited by the prestigious International Institute for Independent Business in London. Her independent venture, Business Life Success Strategies, counsels small business and proactive non-profits.

Mary built a successful career as a consultant to businesses across the country on topics including strategic planning and business plan development, operations and administrative workflow improvement, change management, marketing, event planning and development funding. She has served as president of a chamber of commerce and a community-based association; on the board of several non-profits, including the executive board of a statewide association; as a appointee to several government commissions; and as a long-time volunteer in the community.

Trost holds an MBA and a Bachelor's degree from California State University at San Bernardino, where she received High Pass on her graduate comprehensive exam, The Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award, and was on the Dean's List. She also holds a Community College Teaching Credential.
